Beskap Adas knitwear Wristbag is 19cm (height) x15cm3 4 sleeved asymmetrical top, with the silhouette of a "beskap" (traditional Javanese male suit), which is also often worn by women but named "Kebaya Janggan". Hand embroidered in Adas (= fennel plant) motif. The fennel spice is among the many local spices which were sought after by the Portuguese explorers, used for cooking and medicinal remedies, and this design was inspired by the "Passage To Spice Island" collection by Rengganis.
